At The Roots Corner we believe an interior is not simply made up of objects. It is built around pieces that have a presence, a material, a history.
We travel through places, markets and workshops in search of singular work: hand-woven rugs, antique objects, carved pieces and materials shaped by time. Each piece is chosen for what it tells as much as for what it brings to a room.
Heritage as material
Long before they became decoration, these objects were part of daily life. They accompanied families, gestures, encounters, generations. Their beauty lies partly in their imperfections: a patina, an irregularity, a mark left by time. These are not flaws to be erased. They are the marks that make the piece.
Meeting the makers
The Roots Corner seeks above all to understand what lies behind each creation: the materials, the gestures, the traditions, the people who shape them. From Morocco to Cameroon, every encounter opens onto a different world and onto knowledge that deserves to be kept.

Dahab is drawn to travel, to materials and to craft. Always looking for singular pieces, she likes to meet the people who shape them, to understand their history, and to give them a place in interiors where they can go on living.
